// about input intel
Built by someone who
needed it himself.
Input Intel didn't start as a startup idea. It started as a practical problem — one that took 16 years of cross-border market work to fully understand.
For years, working at my lead generation agency, we built market lists for foreign clients entering Germany — manually, repeatedly, one project at a time. Every engagement started the same way: hours of research, browser tabs multiplying, cookie banners dismissed one after another, and a spreadsheet that was outdated the moment it was finished.
At some point we decided to turn those lists into a consumer directory. That's when something clicked. The problem wasn't just data — it was the experience of finding it. Search engines return thumbnails and irrelevant results. Your screen fills up like a lead generation dashboard. You open tab after tab just to see what a shop actually looks like.
I understood what bothered people. The image and the data are the hero. Everything else is noise. So I built a tool where a full-page screenshot and enriched company data live in the same view — navigable like Tinder, without leaving the page.
What started as a consumer directory became Discovery — a prospecting tool for the agency first, then a platform for anyone bringing products into the German market. No more tab-hopping. No more cookie-clicking. Just signal.

// Founder & CEO, Input Intel Ltd
I've spent most of my career at the intersection of international sales and German market entry — in roles spanning marketing, business development, and country management for foreign manufacturers and brands expanding into Germany.
Over 16 years of independent consulting, I've run cross-border lead generation and market entry projects for clients from across Europe, North America, and Asia. I know what it costs to get this wrong — in time, money, and missed opportunities.
Input Intel is the tool I always wished existed: a live, enriched, visually navigable database of German e-commerce — built for the people who actually have to do the work of market entry.
