1 First Steps

The German Onlineshops Discovery Platform contains over 9,000 German online retailers, enriched with category data, target audience profiles, and contact information. You'll be up and running in minutes.

How to get started

  1. Access link by email – After purchase you'll receive a Magic Link. No password required.
  2. Open Discovery – Click "Discovery" in the navigation. The database loads automatically.
  3. First search – Enter a keyword (e.g. category, target audience, or shop name) or use the filter panels.
  4. Save retailers – Select relevant shops for your export.
Note: The platform is optimised for desktop. All features are available on mobile, but the filter panel view is limited.

2 Login & Access

We use passwordless login via Magic Link – no account creation, no passwords to remember.

Request a Magic Link

Visit german-onlineshops.de/login, enter your email address and click Send link. You'll receive an email with your personal login link within 30 seconds.

Link not received? Check your spam folder. Emails are sent from noreply@inputintel.com. Magic Links are valid for 15 minutes.

Session duration

Your session stays active on the device as long as you remain logged in to your browser. Switching devices requires a new Magic Link.

3 Discovery Overview

The overview shows all retailers as a searchable, filterable list. 50 shops are loaded by default – more load as you scroll.

Fields marked Enriched are supplemented by automated analysis and may contain inaccuracies.

Shop detail view

Click on an entry to open the detail view. Here you'll find all available data plus a direct link to the shop's imprint page.

4 Search & Filter

Use the filters to narrow the database to your target market. Multiple filters can be active simultaneously.

Text search

Full-text search scans shop name, URL, and categories simultaneously. Case-insensitive.

Available filters

  1. Main category – e.g. Fashion, Electronics, Sports, Home & Living (23 categories)
  2. Target audience – e.g. Women, Men, Kids, B2B, Pets
  3. Subcategory – detailed refinement within the main category
Pro tip: Combine main category + target audience for precise segments – e.g. Fashion + Women returns only fashion retailers with a female core audience.

5 Lists & Export

Filtered results can be saved as an export list.

Create a list

  1. Set filters – Filter the Discovery to your target segment.
  2. Select shops – Select individually or use "Select all" for the current filtered view.
  3. Start export – Click "Export as CSV". The file downloads immediately.

6 Subscription

The Discovery Platform runs as a subscription, cancellable at any time.

The database is updated monthly. Shop information (category, imprint, screenshot) is reviewed on a rolling basis. Newly added shops are marked as such.

2. Wait 60 seconds and request a new link.
3. Make sure you're using the same email address you signed up with.

The current Discovery plan includes one user seat. For team access or multiple seats, please get in touch – we'll find a solution.
The database covers 23 main categories including Fashion, Electronics, Sports, Home & Garden, Beauty, Pets, Toys, Food & Beverages, and more – spanning virtually all segments of German e-commerce.
No. The data is strictly for internal use within your own organisation. Resale, public distribution, or sharing with third parties is prohibited under our terms of service.
Send an informal email to hi@inputintel.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. There is no minimum term.
Yes. All data consists of publicly accessible business information (imprint data, shop information). The platform is hosted on EU infrastructure. Transactional emails are sent via Brevo (EU). No personal user data is shared with third parties.
Access to the Discovery Platform is deactivated. Previously exported data remains on your device. Reactivation is possible at any time through the usual purchase process.
